Replacing Front Brake Rotors and Pads

Model: Audi A4 B6 - Years 2000-2004
Part: Brake rotors

Lift the vehicle on a hydraulic lift and remove the front wheel. Disconnect the outer retaining spring on the caliper, unscrew the caliper mounting bolts, and remove the caliper to access the brake pads by disconnecting the brake wear sensor connector. Next, remove the brake caliper bracket and the rotor. Clean the rotor mounting surface on the hub and apply grease. Install the new rotor after cleaning it of protective oil and secure it with a wheel bolt. Reinstall the caliper bracket, place the new pads, and reinstall the caliper after retracting the piston with a C-clamp. Pay attention during the initial brake applications.
