To remove the climate control buttons from the Audi A3, use a tool to lever off the plastic cover surrounding the hazard light button, located above the climate control buttons. Once this panel is removed, you can extract the climate control unit from its housing by disconnecting the connectors at the back. After the old panel is removed, insert the new one by connecting it to the connectors at the back and refitting the previously removed panel.
