Audi A4 - Video tutorial
Model: Audi A4
B8
- Years 2007-2016 How to code the daytime running lights on the Audi A4. of course we will have our own VAG cable and a laptop. We have to connect the cable to the OBD port which on the Audi A4 is near the pedal unit. We connect the USB to the laptop and look for the VCDS program icon, which allows us to operate on the car's ECU. But first we have to turn on the ignition. First of all, select the model of our car from the drop-down menu. The program will start scanning the ECUs, to find any failures and errors. Eventually he will offer to delete them. At this point we can enter the control unit we want. We go to control unit 09 - electric control unit - we go to long coding, byte 3: we select daylight. In this way the system will show "daylight on" and the daytime light will be on when the car is started, but with the possibility of turning it off from the ignition.
