Replacing Rear Shock Absorber

Replacing the rear shock absorbers is very straightforward since the springs are not co-axial with the shock absorbers themselves; lift the vehicle on a hydraulic lift and remove both the rear wheel and the corresponding wheel well cover; proceed to remove the bolt that secures the shock absorber eyelet to the rear axle, followed by the bolts on the upper mount; at this point, transfer the complete mount with the boot from the old shock absorber to the new one (compare the lengths of both) and then reverse the steps for installation.

How to Remove the High-Pressure Fuel Pump on VW Golf

In this video, learn how to remove the high-pressure fuel pump on the Volkswagen Golf. Lift the bonnet and secure it, then remove the engine soundproofing panel. Using a screwdriver, unscrew the locking pins of the ventilation pipe and remove the piece from the engine bay. Start removing the fastening pins of the pump as shown in the video. Once the piece is detached from its seat, disconnect the clip present on it. Finally, refit the high-pressure fuel pump in the engine bay, along with the intake pipe and the soundproofing panel.
