If you hear a squeak coming from the rear wheels when driving on the bumpy road, then it is likely that the rear shock absorber support has collapsed: replacing it is very simple since the disassembly is carried out from the outside without accessing the luggage compartment; therefore lift the car on a bridge and remove the rear wheel; apply a jack under the suspension wishbone to support it when removing the shock absorber; then unscrew the pin that fixes the shock absorber to the suspension, remove the wheel arch and disassemble the two fixing pins of the upper support; then lock the shock absorber shaft and unscrew the fixing nut of the support to remove the damaged one and install the new one by proceeding backwards.

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
