You can also purchase specific headlight restoration kits online. It is recommended to start by masking the vehicle and leaving only the headlight surface exposed to prevent paint dust from contaminating the body. Wet sand the headlight surface until it is uniformly dull, apply the special spray, and repeat the sanding before proceeding to polish.
