In the Audi A4, the fuel door may get stuck, for example, due to a malfunction of the control button or the locking actuator. In these cases, you can still perform the emergency opening by following the simple procedure shown in this tutorial.

First, open the trunk lid, then remove the right wall panel and locate the indicated red cord. Next, grab this cord and pull it outward to unlock the latch.

At this point, you will be able to refuel and repair the faulty component.
