The following steps will show you how to remove and replace the rear seats from an Audi A3, following the instructions below. First, open the rear doors and forcefully lift the rear bench seat to detach and remove it. Then, unscrew all the screws from the seat backs, removing them as shown in the video.

At this point, you will significantly increase the boot space, even by just lowering the rear seat backs. Refit the bench seat and the seat backs, applying the reverse procedure of disassembly.
