Replacement of the front headlight bulbs of the Audi A1

Model: Audi A1 GB, MK 2 - Years 2018-2025
Part: Headlight bulb

If one of the front headlight bulbs of the Audi A1 were to burn out, we must replace it as soon as possible in order to drive safely and avoid penalties. To do this, we open the hood of the engine compartment, position ourselves in front of the headlight that contains the bulb we need to replace, using a screwdriver with a torx tip we unscrew the three screws, two on the upper edge and one inside, that secure the headlight, we remove it and place it on a work surface. We replace the burned-out bulb, put the headlight back in its place and secure it by tightening the three torx screws.

Replacing Timing Belt on Qashqai 1.5 DCI

The timing belt is a vital component and one of the most important elements of the engine. Neglecting it puts the engine's very life at serious risk. If it breaks, it can cause very serious and costly damage to the entire engine. The belt should be replaced (along with pulleys and water pump) at intervals recommended by the manufacturer, generally every 100,000 or even 120,000 miles or 5 years. The material it is made from naturally deteriorates over time, similar to tyres. For the specific Nissan model with the Nissan/Renault 1500 DCI engine, the Achilles' heel is the bearings, which are subject to premature wear. The manufacturer recommends replacing them during the first timing belt/pulley replacement.
