To remove the rear headlight of the Audi A6, open the trunk to access the trim panel next to the corresponding light assembly. Pry off this panel with a tool, then loosen the screws underneath.

Once the screws are loosened, pull the light assembly out of its housing and disconnect the underlying connectors. At this point, insert the new light assembly, connect the connectors, and secure it in place with the screws.
