Descriptive guide for replacing the engine oil and oil filter on a Beta RR500. Obtain 1 litre of Motul 7100 SAE 10W40 oil, 1 litre of Motul Transoil SAE 10W40 oil, and HIFLO HF631 oil filter. Position the bike on the side stand. Start the engine, bring it to temperature, and turn it off. Unscrew the three screws of the engine guard using a ratchet and a 10mm socket. Place a container for collecting the used oil under the engine. Unscrew the oil drain plug located under the engine using a ratchet and a 14mm socket. Allow the oil to drain and clean the plug thoroughly. Screw the drain plug back in. Open the oil filler cap located on the right side of the engine casing and pour in 850cc of Motul Transoil. Unscrew the two side screws of the oil filter cover located on the left front side using a ratchet and a 10mm socket. Remove the filter cartridge and replace it with the new one. Unscrew the engine oil drain plug located under the rear side of the engine using a ratchet and a 14mm socket. Allow the oil to drain and clean the plug thoroughly. Screw the drain plug back in. Open the oil filler cap located on the left side of the engine casing and pour in 750cc of Motul 7100. Start the engine for one minute and turn it off. Check the oil level.
