A very important task to keep your bike healthy and reduce the number of parts replacements is to periodically wash the air filter. In a bucket, mix a good amount of universal degreaser (specific products are not necessary) with some water. Soak the filter for several minutes, then rinse it. Dry the filter as best as possible using a compressor or a standard air gun. Wait a couple of hours for it to dry further. Place the air filter back in a bucket with some engine oil and grease the edges before refitting it.
