In this tutorial we can see how to replace the motor oil in the BMW R1250 GS, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, we wait for the engine to be cold enough, then we position a container underneath it and, with a Torx T27 key, we remove the metal protective cover. We then locate the drain plug bolt, unscrew it with a 10mm hex key and let all the oil in the system drain out. At this point, all that remains is to unscrew the old filter, tighten both the replacement and the bolt, and pour the new oil through the top hole.
