To change the engine oil of a BMW R1250 GS, start by positioning the bike on a flat surface. Next, lift the bike onto the centre stand.

Remove the oil filler cap to allow air into the system and facilitate oil drainage. Place a container under the drain plug and unscrew the plug using the appropriate spanner.

Once the drain plug is removed, let the used oil drain completely into the container. Next, re-screw the drain plug, fill the engine with new oil, check the level, and start the engine to distribute the oil. Once completed, the oil maintenance of your BMW R1250 GS will be finished.
