In order to replace the battery of the BMW K100, you will need to loosen the screws that secure the motorcycle seat to its housing, so that it can be completely removed. After removing the seat, you can then loosen the screws that secure the left side panel to its housing. Once this is detached, you can locate the battery, which will need to be freed from its housing by loosening the fixing screws. Then, you can disconnect the cables to insert the new replacement piece and reassemble all the removed components.
