You can replace the battery on the BMW R1200 RT by loosening the screws that secure the cover panel located on the right side of the vehicle, just below the seat. Once the screws are loosened, you can detach the panel and locate the battery underneath. This can now be freed from the corresponding screws and disconnected from the appropriate cables. At this point, you can remove the old battery and position the new one. This can now be secured to connect it and then cover everything with the panel.
