Warm up the engine of your BMW by leaving it running for a few minutes. This will make the engine oil more fluid and allow it to drain more easily from its container. It is also recommended to use 20W-50 engine oil for this model. Unscrew the lower oil drain plug and, as shown in the video, collect the oil in a container (and dispose of it properly). Open the upper fill hole to aid the exit of the old oil through air circulation. Close the drain hole, measure the amount of old oil, and refill with the same amount of 20W-50.
