Fitting Heated Grips on a BMW 1200 GS

As with any maintenance operation on a motorcycle, secure your BMW 1200 GS safely on its stand. This is advisable to ensure the operator's safety.

At this point, using the appropriate key, unscrew the bolt at the end of the grip. With a utility knife, cut the grip longitudinally and remove it. Now, clean the grip area and the inside of the new grip using alcohol.

After that, insert it into its housing and glue the two ends of the new grip with super glue. Reattach the bolt at the end, and you’re done!
