In this video tutorial, learn how to remove and replace the battery on a BMW R 1200 GSA, as well as the R 1200 GS. First, place your bike on the stand and start by undoing the fixing screws of the side battery cover using a T20 Torx spanner; then disconnect the electrical connector of the sensor located near the handlebars. Next, unscrew the battery terminal screws (positive and negative) to remove it from the battery holder; simply replace it with a new one of the same size and amperage!
