To replace the battery in a BMW GS 310, insert the key into the designated lock and turn it to remove the seat. Once the seat is detached, loosen all the screws securing the battery and disconnect the terminals; the battery is located under the seat. After loosening the screws and disconnecting the terminals, the battery can be removed from its housing and replaced with a new part. The new battery should then be connected and secured to the cables before reinstalling the seat.
