How to replace the battery in the BMW R 1200RT?

In this tutorial we can see how to replace the battery in the BMW R 1200RT, an extremely simple and fast operation. First of all, make sure that the key is not inserted and that the engine is perfectly cold, in order to operate safely, then unscrew the two fixing screws of the right plastic panel and remove it. Next, we remove the second protective panel, unhook the sealing band and take the battery out of the housing. Finally, disconnect both terminals and fit any spare parts following exactly the reverse procedure.

How do you reset the Service warning light on the Aprilia Shiver 750?

In order to reset the Aprilia Shiver Service warning light, the instrument panel must be turned on, so that the menu can be accessed: by moving the controls to the right of the steering wheel, it will be possible to select the "Diagnostics" item. Then you will have to enter the code 12390 to access the Diagnostics menu: at this point, by selecting "Coupons reset" a confirmation screen will appear. By selecting "Yes" it will be possible to reset the maintenance intervals; once this operation has been completed, it will be possible to switch the ignition off and on again to check it.
