To replace the battery on the BMW R 1250 GSA, loosen the bolts securing the cover on the right side of the bike so that it can be completely removed. Underneath, you will find the battery, which must be removed from its location by loosening the fixing screws and disconnecting the power cables. Once the old battery is free, you can take it out of its housing and insert the new one. After installation, cover everything back up with the cover.
