Model: Bmw R 1250 Gs
To replace the battery on the BMW R 1250 GS, loosen the bolts securing the cover located on the right side of the bike to remove its lid. Once removed, you will have access to the components underneath, including the battery. This must be removed from its housing by disconnecting the power cables and loosening the appropriate securing bolts. This will allow you to insert a new battery, securing it properly and reconnecting the relevant cables, then replace the lid.
