To replace the wheels on a BMW R 1200 GS, perform the same operation for both the front and rear wheels: you will need to loosen the nut that secures the central axle of the wheel, allowing the axle to be fully extracted from its housing. Once the axle is removed, you can unscrew the bolts that secure the brake caliper on each wheel, detaching it from the corresponding brake disc. After all obstructing components have been removed, detach both wheels and replace them with the new spare parts.
