To replace the rear-view mirror of the BMW R 1250 GS, lift the rubber cap located at the base of the mirror support: by lifting this cap, you will find the nut that secures it in place underneath. Once this nut is loosened, you can pull the mirror out of its housing, allowing you to insert the new replacement part into its place. The new part must be secured by tightening the nut at its base and then covering everything with the rubber cap.
