In this tutorial, see how to replace the transmission oil in the BMW R1150 RT, a very simple and quick operation. First, ensure the engine is cool enough to work safely. Then, position a container underneath the transmission area and, using a 6 mm hex key, unscrew both the fill bolt and the drain bolt. Allow all the oil in the system to drain out, tighten the lower bolt, and fill with new oil through the upper hole.
