How to Replace the Crankshaft Pulley on a BMW X3?

To replace the crankshaft pulley on a BMW X3, first open the hood and remove the cover from the front of the engine. At this point, the crankshaft pulley will be visible, located directly beneath the viscous fan. To remove it, loosen the central bolt using a pneumatic gun or a socket wrench. Once the old crankshaft pulley is removed, install the new replacement part: the pulley must be secured using the proper torque specification. After completing the operation, reinstall the cover on the front of the engine.
