Replacing Temperature Sensor on BMW 3 Series

How do you remove the temperature sensor on a BMW 3 Series? Raise the hood of the car to locate the temperature sensor and remove it. Remove the engine soundproofing panel and identify the location of the sensor. Disconnect the power connector from the temperature sensor, unbolt the nut, and remove the sensor. Screw in the new sensor and connect the electrical connector. Reinstall the engine cover panel once you have finished the removal. Test the proper functioning of the temperature sensor once all parts are in place.
