How to Remove Fuel Injectors in 5 Minutes

Model: BMW Serie 5 E39 - Years 1995-2003
Part: Fuel injectors

First, remove the small metal plate that secures the injector clip. Be careful of any diesel fuel that may splash out (while working, always wipe up any liquid spills with a cloth). Next, disconnect the wire that secures the injector, located at the top. It is secured on all four sides of the injector base. To make this task easier, use a small flathead screwdriver. Do not lose the metal plates you removed; you will need them. Then, remove the injector, where you can notice its defect, which is the missing plastic piece that covers the metal bolt.
