Check Fuel Pump Operation

If the engine fails to start, with an irregular rotation speed during this phase, it is possible that fuel is not reaching the engine properly due to an inefficiency of the pump, specifically the one submerged in the tank. A very quick and effective way to check the pump's operation is to intercept the bleed valve located on the side of the fuel rail for the injectors, loosen it slightly, and turn on the ignition: if fuel flows out regularly, then the pump is working and you need to look for the cause of the starting issue elsewhere.
