Replace the Windshield Wiper Pump on BMW 5 Series

Model: BMW Serie 5 E61, E60 - Years 2003-2010

Unscrew the three 8 mm bolts and the single 10 mm bolt located in the left front wheel well. This will be enough to move the wheel well just enough to access the wiper pump, which on this model can be replaced without removing the wheel, despite its position. Then remove the pump, disconnect the hoses and the connector, and pull it upward to detach it from the washer fluid reservoir. Water will obviously spill out during this operation. Proceed in reverse for the installation of the new pump, reconnecting the connector and properly seating it.
