How to Remove the EGR Valve from a BMW 5 Series?

Model: BMW Serie 5 E61, E60 - Years 2003-2010

To replace the EGR valve on a BMW 5 Series, open the hood to access the components inside the engine bay. Once the hood is open, remove the plastic cover on top of the engine bay along with the air filter housing; this will provide easier access to the valve, located between the intake and exhaust manifolds. By unscrewing the bolts and disconnecting the connectors attached to it, you can completely remove the old EGR valve and replace it with a new replacement part.
