When replacing the cylinder head gasket, it is good practice to also replace the valve guide rubbers: use the special arc clamp to squeeze the return spring and remove the shells fixing the stem to the plate, then remove the plate and spring and and remove the valve; use the extractor to remove the rubber pad and insert the new one after lubricating it; also lubricate the valve stem before repositioning it in its seat and proceed backwards to insert the spring. During this operation, consider the possibility of grinding the valve seats.

How to set the time on the Peugeot 308
