This guide shows how to replace the valve seal. To do this, remove all the wires and intake hoses from the upper valve cover.

Then, take off the old seal and clean the valve cover with a degreaser. Use a small amount of Permatex on the valve groove, insert the new seal, and let it rest for about ten minutes.

Tighten the bolts that secure the valve cover to the specified torque and reconnect all the hoses and wires that were previously disconnected.
