Before proceeding with the installation of the new intake manifold gaskets, it is absolutely essential to clean the gasket seats, both on the manifold side and on the cylinder base: it is necessary to remove any residue that could compromise adherence and therefore the seal of the gaskets themselves, to the detriment of engine performance; once the cleaning phase has been completed, apply the new gaskets which are made up of six elements, each to be applied to the single cylinder, inserting it into the captive pins; finally apply the manifold and tighten the fixing nuts.

How do I unlock the automatic transmission of the BMW 3 Series?

In order to unlock the automatic transmission of the BMW 3 Series, the Start / Stop button and the lever release button must be pressed at the same time. This procedure will allow the car gearbox to be unlocked for about 15 minutes, so that in the event of an engine failure, the car can still be moved. It may be necessary to repeat the operation more than once for its success. After unlocking the gearbox, it can return to its original state by simply waiting for the aforementioned 15 minutes, or by pushing the release lever forward for a few seconds.
