Replacing the Exhaust Manifold Gasket

Before applying the new gasket to the exhaust manifold, thoroughly clean the gasket seating on both the manifold side and the cylinder head side to remove any dirt and buildup that could compromise the gasket's adhesion and seal. Once cleaning is complete, install the new gasket, which consists of two pieces and has a unique shape: it features a partition that protects the injector seating from heat. Then, insert the two manifolds and tighten the mounting nuts with a torque wrench.
