Removing the Cylinder Head Gasket of the BMW 3 Series

This guide will show you the main steps to remove and replace the cylinder head gasket of the BMW 3 Series. First, open the hood and start by removing the valve cover by unscrewing the mounting bolts located on the sides; then separate the timing cover from the cylinder head, also disconnecting the timing chain, as shown in the video. At this point, unscrew all the cylinder head bolts, removing and replacing the gasket with a new one (after performing a thorough cleaning); then reassemble everything!
