Valve Cover Gasket Replacement

Model: BMW Serie 3 E46 - Years 1998-2006

Start by disconnecting the plastic cable pass-through located just below the windshield to remove the cabin air filter and disassemble the supporting unit; remove the protective caps on the engine cover and take out the underlying bolts to remove the cover itself; disconnect the ignition coil connectors and pull them out of their respective sockets, disconnect the vacuum hose by pressing the locking tab, remove the fastening nuts of the ground cable eyelets for the coils, and proceed to remove the retaining bolts of the valve cover; once all bolts are removed, take off the cover, slide out the old gaskets, and reverse the process to install the new ones.
