In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the wastegate actuator on a BMW 3 Series. First, wait for the engine to be completely cool, then open the hood and remove both the air filter box and the intake manifold.

Next, locate the turbocharger, which is positioned at the lower front area of the engine. Disconnect the retaining clip from the actuator arm and remove the mounting bolts using a T45 Torx wrench.

Once done, disconnect the connector, install the replacement part, and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
