In order to replace the turbine on the BMW 5 Series, you need to go and open the bonnet, so that you can access the components located inside the engine compartment: in its upper part, you will be able to identify the exhaust manifold, which must be completely disassembled in order to give access to the turbine placed under it. After the manifold has been removed, it will be possible to identify the turbine: the latter must be removed by disconnecting the connectors and the fixing screws of the supports, accessing from the lower part of the engine compartment. In this way it will be possible to insert a new spare turbine, verifying that everything works correctly.
