Replacing the Key Battery on BMW Cars

To replace the batteries in this BMW key, used on models such as the BMW 5 Series, 6 Series, 7 Series, and X3, simply get a flathead screwdriver and pry in the seam between the lower cover and the remote, as shown in the video. Done! It's that simple. After performing this straightforward operation, you can remove the two batteries from the remote and replace them with equivalent ones. To reassemble the remote, just press the cover back in place, as it is held by a snap fit. Check that the remote works.
