Replacing Valve Cover Gasket

Model: BMW Serie 3 E46 - Years 1998-2006

For the vehicle in question, the valve cover gasket consists of two pieces: a central one and the perimeter gasket of the cover itself. Once the gaskets are seated in their corresponding slots on the cover, before positioning it, apply gasket sealant at the edges of the side covers to ensure better sealing and adhesion. Proceed to position the cover and tighten the respective fastening bolts in a crisscross pattern using a torque wrench. After starting the engine, check for any leaks or seepage.
