To replace the cabin air filter in the BMW 3 Series, model F30, follow these simple and quick steps. Get inside the vehicle and sit in the passenger seat. Remove the side cover to access the filter cover. After gaining access to the filter box, remove the worn filter and clean the box. Insert the new cabin air filter and close the cover. Reattach the cover and start the vehicle to test that the filter has been installed correctly. If not, a warning light will alert you. It is important to use a filter of the same size.
