To remove the EGR valve from a BMW 5 Series, open the hood to access the components in the engine compartment. At the front, near the exhaust manifold, you will find the EGR valve.

Remove it from its housing by loosening the screws that secure it and disconnecting all connectors. After removing the old valve, install the new one, securing it with the screws and ensuring it functions correctly.
