How to Disassemble and Reattach the Cabin Air Filter Compartment

In this video, we will see how to disassemble and reattach the cabin air filter compartment. Under the gasket located between the windshield and the engine, we find a long plastic compartment. Disconnect it, and immediately after, disconnect the plastic cable located just behind it. Continue by removing the entire gasket by opening the two simple mechanisms on its sides. At this point, you will have all the space needed to work on the cabin filter. To reassemble everything, you will need a bit of patience as the gasket must be reinserted into place by snapping it back in, then closing the side clips.
