Replacement of the cabin air filter of the BMW 520 E39

In this video we can see that, in order to prevent dust and dirt from entering the ventilation system of the Bmw 520 E39 version, there are two filters mounted on the intake vents: to keep them efficient, we need to periodically replace the filter elements. We open the hood of the engine compartment, at the two ends of the base of the windshield there are the filter housings, we open one of the covers and remove the old filter, we close the inlet duct with a cloth and clean the box with a jet of compressed air, we place the new filter and close the cover. We repeat the same operations with the other housing.
