In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the handbrake lever in a BMW 3 Series, an extremely simple operation. First, go inside the cabin, then unclip the base of the boot and fully flip it over. Once done, grasp the lever, pull it forcefully outward while simultaneously rotating it in both directions until it is completely removed from the shaft. Finally, cut the internal plastic tie, insert the replacement onto the shaft until it reaches the indicated notch, and secure the old boot with a new tie.
