How do you replace the windshield seal on the BMW 3 Series?

In order to replace the windshield gasket, you have to pry an object at the bottom of the gasket so that it can be detached from the bodywork. Once the old seal has been properly removed, it is convenient to clean the area with alcohol to remove any remaining glue residue. Once the glue has been removed, the new gasket can be positioned inside its housing, removing the rear protective paper: this will allow the adhesive part to adhere to the body, fixing the gasket.
