How to Reset the Service Light on a BMW X3 F25

Model: BMW X3 MK 2, F25 - Years 2010-2017

To reset the service light on a BMW X3 (F25), start by turning on the vehicle's ignition. Press the button at the far left of the turn signal lever marked "bc" until the total mileage of the vehicle appears. Hold down the button at the bottom left of the instrument cluster until the car icon and the red oil symbol appear. Keep holding the same button until the message "reset?" appears below the car outline. Press and hold the same button again until the message "reset in progress" appears. Wait a few seconds and notice that the oil symbol turns green and the message "reset successful" appears at the bottom. Finally, the onboard computer will automatically return to the main menu.
