Learn how to disable the speed limit warning on a BMW: on models from 2024 onwards, it is mandatory to have an audible alert that notifies you when you exceed the speed limit of the area you are driving in, even slightly. You can disable it through the iDrive system, but the procedure is lengthy and requires navigating through the menu.

Additionally, the system restarts automatically every time the vehicle is restarted. There is a simpler way to temporarily disable it while driving.

Press and hold the "SET" button on the steering wheel for a few seconds; this button is used to set the cruise control and limiter. The audible alert will turn off immediately.

It will reactivate when the vehicle is restarted, but at least you can quickly silence it.
